Welcome to Troop 262 – Flower Mound, TX

Troop 262 meets every Monday night from 7-8:30 pm when LISD schools are in session. We meet in the cafeteria of Downing Middle School at 5555 Bridlewood Blvd., Flower Mound, TX.

Troop 262 is a large boy-led troop of more than 90 Scouts chartered by the Highland Village Lions Club. We have many active adult leaders and plenty of volunteer opportunities in terms of committee positions and merit badge counselors

Troop 262 camps once a month during the school year and organize treks to local, far away, and high adventure camps each summer. Our focus is “Fun First” with an emphasis on developing character and leadership

Did you know that in 2014 Troop 262 scouts camped a combined 1,079 nights in 4 states and performed over 780 hours of community service hours?

We are an active Troop in the area – come join us!!

How do we pick up

in one day?

1200+ Trees

Gather the trucks, trailers, and

volunteers!

Head out and load.....

and load....

Check those trees for

ornaments!!!

Have fun!

Keep those volunteers

fed!

And load some more!

Unload (again and again and again).....

then clean it all up!

Recology delivers the trees to the
CA Department of Water Resources
to be used for the Black Bass habitat
project at Lake Oroville.

Celebrate a job well done!!!
